DR Rapid Feed Chipper Pro 16.50 R/S

Product Code: DRCPR16AMN
The DR PRO 16.50 RS is a dedicated self-feeding chipper quickly processes branches of up to 4.75 inches in diameter with the high discharge chute allowing you to direct the wood chips into a trailer or wheelbarrow.
Powered by a reliable 420cc Briggs & Stratton OHV engine, the heavy duty flywheel spins at 128mph whilst the ProSpec chipper knife takes 40 "bites" of the branches per second.
The pin hitch included enables the chipper to be towed to and from the work area using an ATV or garden tractor

Massive Steel Flywheel
Even the biggest hardwood branches won’t slow down the DR® RAPID-FEED™ CHIPPER. That’s because the inertia created by these heavy-duty flywheels lets the work go smoothly with less strain on your machine. Five oversized steel flywheel fins strike chipped material 9600 times per minute, blasting material out of the machine.
Pro-Spec Chipper Knife
Unlike most “bargain” chipper knives that are made out of stamped steel, our chipper knives are made of high-carbon / high-chromium hardened D2 steel for excellent edge-holding ability.
The knife tips travel at 101-144 mph, depending on the model. This provides faster, cleaner chipping, and helps the knife draw the material into the chipping chamber.
Powerful Air Channel
DR® RAPID-FEED™ CHIPPERS use AIR-INJECTION VENTING, which helps create a vacuum port on the hopper side of the chamber. This powerful airflow draws material into the chipping chamber and prac-tically blasts the chips out the discharge chute. In over 300 hours of testing, our testers never experienced any clogging!
