Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an dispatch confirmation by e-mail.
CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, and Solo cards. All payment transactions are processed at time of ordering.
You may also pay by cheque. Cheque should be made out to "Green Stripe.net". You should allow 7 working days for cheques to clear, after which the goods will be dispatched (subject to stock availability).
You have the right to cancel any order. The Cancellation Period begins from the day on which the contract for the supply of goods is concluded (i.e. the purchase day). The Cancellation Period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. Goods must be returned in an unused state, and in their original packaging. The consumer is liable to pay for the cost of returning the goods to us. We will return your money within 30 days of notice of cancellation (i.e. 30 days from the date the notice was posted or given). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
All order prices are VAT inclusive.
You have the right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation, to cancel your order within 7 working days, commencing from the day after the day you receive the goods. However, you must ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging unopened. You must return the goods within 15 days of the date of their delivery to you, to our contact address at your own cost and risk. We will refund the price you paid for such goods within 30 days of the date of cancellation provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in, when delivered to you.
Shipping & Handling
No Shipping Of Machinery , we reserve the right to deliver local at our discretion. Please do check with us first before ordering.
Spare Parts Orders;
Shipping and Handling are £10.00 per order for spare parts only - Parts orders are subject to a fixed charge of £10.00 per order. Unless you are Highlands and Islands and we reserve the right to charge more for these areas, You will be informed on any additional shipping costs before we despatch, a full refund will be given if you deem it too expensive. Goods should be inspected before they are signed for. Goods should be REFUSED if they are obviously seriously damaged in transit. You must notify us via email with 24 hours if your goods are subsequently found to be damaged.
Please take particular care with regards to entering your personal address information on PROTX. If your house has a name and a number then it is imperative that both are entered when inputting your address. Also, please take care to enter the post code correctly. Your address details MUST EXACTLY MATCH the billing address of your credit/debit card as recorded on your monthly statements. Payment will be rejected if these details do not match.
Information About Deliveries
The price you see for a product is the price you pay (excluding shipping an handling), including VAT. Most of our products are delivered on a 2 to 3 Working Day Service, stock levels permitting (we have over 95% order fulfilment on next day delivery items).
Currently we can only deliver parts to United Kingdom mainland addresses. Smaller items such as parts can be shipped internationally, but are subject to additional postage.
The method and time for delivery varies by product, but the majority of products are dispatched on the same business day for either next working day delivery or delivery within 3-5 days. In the case of Next Working Day Delivery items, orders received after 1-00pm on a Friday will usually be delivered on the following Tuesday.
There are occasional delivery costs and occasional delays in delivery when delivering to very remote area’s, notably the Highlands of Scotland and certain areas of Wales and Cornwall. There may be other instances of Next Working Day Delivery not applying. This would be extreme pressure on Deliveries, Carriers not fulfilling obligations etc. This is very unusual and, as stated above, more than 95% of Next Day Orders are delivered next day - Greenstripe.net accept no liability for delayed orders.
There are certain exceptions to the above:
Bank Holiday Weekends: Next Day Delivery Orders received over a bank holiday weekend will usually be delivered on the following Wednesday. No Deliveries are made between Christmas and New Year.
Our standard £5.00 delivery charge is applied for internet orders to addresses in mainland England, Wales and Scotland. The following postcodes are excluded from this offer and will incur additional delivery charges (this is a guide only, often the surcharge is less than this and we can quote you if you call us before ordering. Parts that can be sent via Royal Mail will not be subject to any additional postage for UK Mainland):
* Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes AB31-38, AB41-42, AB43-45, HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-403, PH15-44, PH60 ZE. Supplemental Carriage & Packing Charge - £20.00 for first 20kg, then 54p per kg there after. Larger items may be subject to a Pallet surcharge - These are stated as an estimation and may well be much less for smaller items - please enquire before ordering.
* Northern Ireland - postcode BT . Supplemental Carriage & Packing Charge - £20.00 for first 20kg, then 54p per kg there after. Larger items may be subject to a Pallet surcharge - These are stated as an estimation and may well be much less for smaller items - please enquire before ordering.
* Isle of Man - postcode IM . Supplemental Carriage & Packing Charge - £20.00 for first 20kg, then 54p per kg there after. Larger items may be subject to a Pallet surcharge - These are stated as an estimation and may well be much less for smaller items - please enquire before ordering.
* Isle of Wight - all postcodes - Supplemental Carriage & Packing Charge - £20.00 for first 20kg, then 54p per kg there after. Larger items may be subject to a Pallet surcharge - These are stated as an estimation and may well be much less for smaller items - please enquire before ordering.
Please note all telephone orders are subject to a £5.00 administration charge.
Additional delivery charges will be added after consultation with the customer at time of processing, and will not appear on your invoice unless a reprint is requested. Charges stated are a maximum and may be lower for smaller lighter items.
All products come with manufacturer warranty of between 1 and 5 years. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period, Green Stripe.net will refer you to your local dealership where the product will be examined by their qualified technicians and repaired as per the warranty details. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Green Stripe.net supply only genuine spare parts, that are subject to the manufacturer's own warranty system. Please be aware that many manufacturer's do not give any warranty on parts fitted by customers, and will only supply replacement warranty to parts fitted by registered service dealer to that particular product. Please bear this in mind when ordering and fitting spare parts. Green Stripe.net accept no liability to replace parts incorrectly fitted by customers.
Green stripe.net will not be liable for any additional costs incurred whilst goods are away for warranty repairs - this includes rental or hire charges for equipment from a third party.
Whilst in your care, machines should be serviced and inspected regularly by a qualified mechanic.
Usage of all machines is entirely at the customer’s own risk. Green Stipe.net and their suppliers are not liable for any accidents or damage how so ever caused whilst the machine is in the customers possession. Assembly of the unit is also at customer’s own risk and any problems that may occur from incorrect assembly are not warrantable, nor are the suppliers culpable.
Please take safety seriously and always read all material and handbooks supplied by the manufacturer before assembling or using the machinery. If you have any doubts please contact ourselves or the relevant manufacturer beforehand.
Green Stripe.net do not disclose buyers' information to third parties.
Information is collected through the ordering process and email enquiries, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
All information held is accessible and used only by Green Stripe.net to necessitate order processing and delivery of goods. From time to time Green Stripe.net may send, via email, news of offers and new products that are available from us. If you do not wish to receive such email, please opt out by sending an email to our sales staff at email@example.com

RETURNS & COMPLAINTS: If you are unhappy with any aspect of your order, you should contact us via email in the first instance. The email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org - we will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and at this stage advise you on how long it will take to resolve the complaint. We will keep you informed throughout the process. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
* IDENTIFY: You should attach your Name and Telephone Number via a sticker or tag to ANY and EVERY component sent to us. Green Stripe.net will not be held responsible for items sent to us that are not clearly labelled.
Green Stripe.net does NOT operate a "Try & Return" policy. Faulty goods within warranty should be returned to us as soon as possible for exchange or repair. Non-Faulty goods that are returned will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. Postage and insurance charges for non-faulty returns must borne by the customer.
Oil and Petrol
When returning any petrol powered product all oil and petrol MUST be drained from the engine before you release the goods to a carrier. This is for the safety of the carrier firm.
Instructions about filling the engine with oil must be followed
For safety in transit, petrol engines will be supplied "dry". It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the engine is filled with the correct grade and quantity of engine oil.
